Where did you get the name from?
One piece of pop culture has been synonymous with Scranton for the last 20 years, and that is of course The Office. NEPA has adopted this show as what PUT US ON THE MAP!
SO yes, the inspiration comes from where you think it does. Once upon a time, a NJ Event Coordinator called into question my DJ ability. This is a rather long story, but after failing his initial eye test he asked me the following. "Did I get a Dunder Mifflin DJ...or did I get a DJ DJ!"
The wedding ended and everyone was satisfied with the experience. Five star review and best day ever! But on that drive home....I kept thinking. "I would take pride to be known as a Dunder Mifflin DJ!" And then it hit me "Dunder Mixin!"
I always thought, if I ever go into business for myself that would be in the name.
